Wearable Art

My wearable art is featured at Changes/The Real Mother Goose in downtown Portland and the airport , The Websters in Ashland, Oregon, and Currents Gallery in McMinnville, Oregon.

I first started weaving in the early 90's on a small 4-harness loom that my dad made of teak.  He and my mom took weaving lessons just for fun, and he used this loom.  After he passed away, I asked my mom if I could have it as a memento of him.  I took lessons at the Multnomah Arts Center in Portland, Oregon, and was hooked from my first class.

Welcome! You will find here a sampling from my collection of handwovens. My work keeps evolving and changing, and I find great pleasure in mixing and matching fibers, colors, and textures.
